Missy's Vital Signs And Credentials

Missy holds an MBA in Marketing from American University, having graduated from the University of Florida as the Vice President of a 40,000-person student body. She served as Adjunct Professor and Lecturer for Integrated Marketing Communications at Skidmore College.

She has extensive public sector experience, having worked in the United States Senate where she served as a Communications Advisor to the Senate Republican Conference. In this role she helped craft daily messaging and provided instruction to 55 Senate Republican Press offices. Missy also staffed the Joint Economic Committee, where she prepared bi-weekly economic digest briefs summarizing recent economic data and statistics for all Republican Senators. She has extensive experience leading Congressional campaigns.

She is a recipient of the Excellence in Business, Women of Excellence Award from the Albany Colonie Chamber of Commerce, the first person from outside the county to win the award.

Here current and past professional memberships include Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), including PRSA’s Counselors Academy, the American Marketing Association and the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO).

In addition to her work as the President & CEO of Shorey Public Relations, she also serves as the National Executive Director for Maggie’s List, an organization dedicated to electing fiscally conservative women to Congress.

She lives in Dallas, TX with her husband, Air Force Lt. Col. Marc Himelhoch (retired) and their adopted shelter dog Holley.

Kamer Davis

BIO:

Kamer Davis has 30+ years’ experience planning and managing national communication programs. Most recently she has consulted to the National Flood Insurance Program FloodSmart campaign, and supported contracts for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.   Previously as a Senior Vice President at Ogilvy Public Relations/Washington she headed its Emergency and Risk Communications Group and before that its Washington-based Technology practice. She holds advanced degrees from Brown University, Providence Rhode Island, and from Universidad de las Americas, Cholula, Mexico. She lives happily in Washington DC, but really wishes it had a beach.

Darden Reinowski

Darden Reinowski is a seasoned freelance writer with a focus in PR and Marketing. She has worked with clients in a wide range of industries from health and well-being to government and technology to commercial real estate. Her background includes journalism and video production in New York City for clients such as Harley-Davidson and Footlocker. She holds a degree in Journalism from New York University. She is always up for a new project and a new adventure.

Emily Pettijohn

Emily Pettijohn is a product, food, and portrait photographer originally born in Mountain Home, Idaho. Growing up in a military family, Emily was exposed to a variety of cultures, which developed her love of photographing a wide range of subjects. Her work displays how she enjoys having fun with vibrant colors and associating subjects you usually wouldn't see together giving her work a conceptual esthetic. Emily attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, and received a Bachelor's of Fine Art in Photography in March 2016.

Ross Lindholm

Ross Lindholm is a highly respected strategic marketing and communications professional. He initially honed his writing skills working in his family's radio stations, conceiving, producing and delivering hundreds of pieces of commercial and news copy on air. Following college, he became a senior advisor to a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, and later the staff director of Congress' Joint Economic Committee. While working on his MBA, he took on the role of Director of Applied Research at George Mason University's Center for Market Processes (now the Mercatus Center), a free market think tank. Upon graduation, he started an independent consultancy focused on creating business plans and marketing plans for startup companies, and writing services for a wide variety of clients. He has authored and co-authored multiple publications, including a book on project management for NASA, policy analysis for Congressional and state legislators, and he wrote the curriculum for and taught seminars on “Doing Business with Congress” to government program managers.

Ross has a BA in Economics from Harvard University and holds an MBA from Georgetown University.

Amanda Vega

Amanda Vega is an interactive industry dinosaur who began her career over 20 years ago as a chat moderator at AOL, later helping develop some of AOL’s signature products like AIM and Love@AOL.  After working her way up the ranks, she left the company to work with other industry pioneers, starting an agency that helped create and grow many of the online marketing capabilities and services many people currently take for granted, until acquisition by Ogilvy.

She currently serves as CEO of a consulting firm that works with both agencies and clients, in the areas of PR, social media management, compliance services. Amanda is a published author (she wrote “PR in a Jar” was a contributing author for “The Social Media Bible”), Columbia University MBA grad, and frequently speaks at industry events. She has also founded and invested in three additional companies that help serve start-ups in the areas of public relations, social media, and marketing.

Beth Rowen

A graduate of Cornell University, Beth has been part of the Shorey PR team since 2006. Her passion for creating branding and communication visuals has proved a solid match for Shorey's unique and skillful approach to marketing and PR campaigns. Prior to 2006, Beth worked in the music video industry in New York City, handling graphic design and art direction for record labels and music conferences. Currently, she resides in Saratoga Springs, NY with her two teenage girls and 6-year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

Ana Tackett

Ana Tackett is a skilled Public Relations Expert with 20+ years of experience. Over the years, Ana has worked with a wide array of clients helping to promote prominent positive perceptions, media relations, and global brand awareness. Ranging from company’s like Microsoft Corporation and MGM Grand Detroit, where she directed and managed a number of central PR strategy’s including product launches, messaging and positioning, special events and ongoing media (including social media), and analyst programs.

Ana has worked at boutique, mid-size and global agencies, telling the story and messaging of over 50 companies , and was directly responsible for leading the development and launch of many successful public relations campaigns. There is no industry sector Ana hasn’t worked in helping clients across every industry including, financial, banking, mortgage, authors, celebrities, retail, non-profit, green, technology, healthcare, business and real estate.

Ana is known for having strong national contacts and securing top tier press coverage for clients across television, radio, print and online. Ana holds a B.A in Corporate Communications from the University of Michigan, and started her career in the broadcasting arena for the city of Detroit.
